Summary: Another Winner from Darin Hartley!
Review: If you've ever tried to unravel the mysteries of selling e-learning to a client or upper management, this practical workbook will provide invaluable assistance. Darin has formulated a step-by-step approach that first demands the reader to thoroughly scrub his or her business case, practice and prepare the documentation for each step, and then develop and deliver a written and oral presentation to the client. Because Darin has experienced the reality of various e-learning related rejection, his tips for overcoming fears and rejection ring especially true. The examples he provides of innovative learning techniques and e-learning providers will save you precious research time. Once again, Darin has written a practical, easy-to-use and timely book on an important topic. It is refreshing to hear the voice of a practitioner (not a mere theorist) who is on the leading edge of e-learning.

Summary: Good sound advice and examples to back it up!
Review: Selling e-Learning to management requires more than just understanding the solution. You also have to understand the problem. Darin Hartley understands both and his book is chock full of advice on when (and when not) to use e-Learning. The book leads you through the process of creating a business case for e-Learning. But just as important is his chapter on overcoming management objections and his chapters on e-Learning success stories. These will arm you with the information and the confidence you need to make the case for e-Learning in your company!

Summary: The Business Case of eLearning - what is the bottomline?
Review: You are the Executive of Training and eLearning. You want to make a case at your company to transition from traditional learning to web-based training and eLearning.

This book is the bible for selling eLearning internally to your peers, your management and decision makers...

To the point, no-nonsense, business plan for strategizing, constructing, and selling eLearning within your organization. And not to mention, a quick read as well ... now, I am looking forward to the next book on deploying eLearning, rollout, change management, and making it a reality.
