Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Must read for senior managers & organizational consultants!
Review: It has been a long time since I read anything that truly inspired me on systems. Dr. Daneke's ability to translate complicated technical concepts into readable understandable material is an asset for scholars, managers, and consultants alike. He writes clearly and eloquently without diminshing the technical nature of the subject matter. He is right on target about the ineffectiveness of traditional linear methods we currently use to analyze and predict everything from operations research to macro economic theory. I love the idea of using phase planes as a nonlinear approach for modeling economic choices and strategic planning. The traditional measures we use are obsolete. I have already recommended this book to faculty colleagues and clients. It is a must read for senior managers and organizational consultants.
