Summary: Deserves Higher than a 10 rating!
Review: By implementing Mr Cook'S Covered Call Strategy, I am averaging well over 20% IN MY IRA and generating a consistent cash flow in my non IRA account. I now have new money for investments i.e. blue chip stocks, stocks that have just split and even mutual funds and increased my cash flow to improve my lifestyle. I am just starting to get into straight option plays; most recently Lucent and Natures Bounty after stock splits and have made excellent returns. I have a collection of all of the best investment books printed over the last 8-10 years and have read others loaned to me, no other book has given me the results of Wade Cook's STOCK MARKET MIRACLES. Er, except for WALL STREET MONEY MACHINE, that is. Wade Cook's strategies are for real, if you'll just try them.

Summary: Outstanding book and techniiques
Review: Following Wade's advice, I turned $250 into $1,400 in two weeks. $450 into $4,800 in three weeks. And $1,500 into $7,500 in 3 days!I did this just by playing splits. Options on stock split companies and buying the stock outright on stocks there were not optionable. I also used margin but always went to cash. I followed Wade's advice on "don't get greedy" and "know your exit." Glad to hear that Wade is back. It's about time. Looking forward to your newest book.

Summary: Worked like a miracle
Review: I bought Stock Market Miracles along with Wall Street Money Machine back in 1997. Using Wade's option strategies I was, as a total beginner, green as green could be turn $250 into $1350 in three weeks on my first play, $400 into $4800 on my second play and $1500 into $7000 (on a 3/1 post stock split play) in 3 days.
As a total novice, I was excited to say the least. Wade Cook and Robert Allen are two of the very best financial coaches today. I also recommend Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.
Take the naysayer with a grain of salt. This guy obviously has an agenda that does not include helping you.
By the way, I made those gains without using Wade's newest and more advanced strategies disclosed in Wade's newest book Wade Cook's Stock Picking Handbook. I recommend that you go to Wade's website www.wadecook.org.

Review: I bought this book along with Wall Street Money Machine back in July 1998 during yet another "Clinton Bear Market" I was amazed to see that I could make money even during a down market. Highly recommend Stock Market Miracles and Wall Street Money Mchine (now known as Wall Street Money Machine Vol I & II.

There is more information on stock splits, options, rolling stocks, buying and selling calls and puts, tandem plays and so much more. This book makes a great companion to Wall Street Money Machine.

Summary: Miracles really do come true!
Review: Stock Market Miracles is the first step toward helping the small investor make BIG returns! The ideas he presents in the book are practical and convincing. Take me for example, a small investor looking for bigger returns. If nothing else, you will learn how to sell covered calls (pretty safe) and sell puts (being paid to buy stocks wholesale!) After reading just half of the book I placed two trades and made $418.57! (The total was actually $493.75 less $75.18 broker's commission and you can cut the commission fees almost in half by trading On-Line!) Wade constantly encourages the reader to take their option profits and invest in stable company stock for the long haul. He is vigilant about stating the risks inherrent in options trading. He teaches common sense option investing. Some readers complain that he hypes his seminars, but who cares? His WS Workshop Seminar may be the catalyst a small investor needs to feel comfortable about investing in options. Wade offers no nonsense advice and he is upbeat and encouraging...the book is worth every penny.

Summary: Sensational book by Wade
Review: This was actually my first Wade Cook book. I bought this before Wall Street Money Machine probably because I was so dissappointed with the results or lack thereof from following my brokers advice that I needed a miracle. Stock Market Miracles offered me the solution I was looking for. Powerful trading material. This book in particular covers option trading very well. Covered calls, buying calls and puts and selling calls. Tandem plays was interesting as well. The new version (Wall Street Money Machine Vol 2) has more information such as strategies on spreads and straddles. I also enjoyed the chapter called behind closed doors which has Wade talking to his sales people. As someone who is in direct sales and heads a sales team I found that very interesting. Stock Market Miracles is a good book and I highly endorse it.

Summary: WADE COOK IS A STOCK MARKET MIRACLE-I MADE $4.750 IN 7 DAYS!
Review: Yes, WADE COOK is a STOCK MARKET MIRACLE AND I highly recommend all of MR COOK'S BOOKS. Most other investing books deal only with growth style investing, WADE COOK shows how to generate cash flow NOW while building a portfolio of growth oriented stocks. He has ingeniously incorporated his Real Estate Strategies to the stock market. I've read the other reviews and can only assume that most people either 1) haven't really read the books, 2) are only into conventional "growth style" buy & hold investing or 3) have a personal vendetta with Cook for whatever reason (s). I am more than pleased with my results and can't beieve that these kind of returns are possible by a novice investor like myself and just from reading a book. END
