Review: the National Directory of Legal Employers is definitely a necessity for anyone thinking of goig into the legal business. it's widely recognized in the profession as the authoritative resource. i'd only say that because it's so comprehensive, it sometimes doesn't quite get into the details enough. I'd recommend something like the Vault Reports Top 50 Law Firms, which gives a great idea of what it's like to go work for a law firm, whether out of college or as a lateral hire. It's less comprehensive, but much more detailed and a fun read.
