Not only does she cover the basics of overhead and markup, as well as possible sources of antiques for resale, but she also addresses a number of important considerations before one even thinks about getting into the business. (A love of antiques and the "thrill of finding a treasure at a bargain price" are simply not enough to make a successful business.) This book is a must-read for anyone considering opening an antiques shop, homebased or otherwise.
