Summary: Five Stars for "Fundamentals"
Review: "Fundamental Concepts of Quality Improvement" is an excellent resource for business owners and professionals trying to make sense of the mass of information about continuous improvement. This book provides basic information about important concepts such as quality philosophies, teamwork, and improvement tools. The most useful part of the book, however, just may well be the excellent selection of case studies. These case studies provide useful examples about how to acutally DO continuous improvement rather than just address conceptual or technical issues. The cases address applications in medical, service and educational settings, rather than just the typical manufacturing applications. I can actually apply the information in this book to improve my dental practice. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to make their company better!!!
