Rating: Summary: Excellent presentation and helpful tips. Review: I found Sister Ceo to be motivational and enlightening. It addressed all of my fears about trying to establish my own business. Furthermore, it helped me to see that my fears are or have been the fears of many aspiring business women of color. I would like to see a sistehood of sister ceo's develop. This sisterhood would be like a sorority.
Rating: Summary: Highly recommended to ALL women! Review: Sister CEO is very motivating, realistic, and I highly recommend it. Broussard is obviously a go-getter and would be an asset in anyone's circle. Her book would be very useful to ANY women who aspires entreprenuerialship. Only one view in her book I did not agree with, and that was on the subject of financing your business. My interpretation was to borrow, beg, or take money out of your house, to do whatever was legally necessary to finance your business -just get started-. Understood if you're single, but if you are married this finanical decision should be agreed upon between BOTH partners. Other than that, a Job Well Done, Broussard!
