Rating: Summary: WOW... very helpful! Review: WOW! That was my first impression of this book. The information contained has helped me to see exactly what I need to be doing about a job, step by step. It shows you what reasons there are for working, how to prepare yourself for todays work world, how to plan a job campaign, organize your job campaign, market yourself, how to contact individuals, how to interview and what to do when deciding where you will work. This information meshed dramatically with my interest in finding out what I need to be doing about getting a job. I knew that contacting individuals and then speaking to them was a great step, yet I never knew the nitty-gritty details of everything. I was very impressed to find a section of the book that will match your major to your career. This book explains from school to the real world, what you can do to better your learning. This organization helped because it presents the information in a road map form. I usually like to do things in a very organized fashion. I like to make lists and see what I have accomplished, what I need to accomplish and what the best way is to go about doing things. I like to see how you start from scratch, building and building and then have a great final picture or project. I feel that the information in this book is presented to me in this type of form, even including checklists for me to use, relating to what I have accomplished. I feel that this information will be a good wrap up tool to organizing my thoughts before going into an interview for either a job or an internship, thus I feel more comfortable having found these tools to keep me on track with what I should be doing.
