Rating: Summary: Amusing truths of the commong "drugstore" Review: Enjoyable light reading, this book has many little known facts that will astound professionals as well as the general public. Vince Staten remembers well a slowly fading side of Pharmacy. Slightly superficial, but not meant to be anything but entertaining. All in all, excellent.

Rating: Summary: Poor follow up to "Can you trust a tomato in January?" Review: I was very dissapointed with this book. I suppose I expected a better, intelectual history of the corner drugstore, but what I read was a poor and sophmoric diatribe. Please do not waste your money. Mr Staten has written better. I suppose I will need to check his other work at the library before I purchase again. Also, do not be deceived, "Did Trojans use trojans" is the same nonesense in paperback form.
