Review: A lot of the "Repair Your Own Credit" books out there are not very helpful. Some of them tell you nothing you didn't already know... Not this one! This is one of the more useful Credit Advice books available on the market. It gives the background of several fraudulant "Credit Repair" firms, info on how to spot a scam, inside look on how the credit bureaus work, and things you can do to correct and "polish" your credit. I would recommend this book to anyone before paying a credit repair/credit counseling company.
