Rating: Summary: Examine Yourself Review: This is an excellent book and very easy to read. If you are not sure what your purpose is (or passion, you can't have one without the other) or if you are stuck in a dead beat job and are not absolutely loving what you are doing, YOU NEED THIS BOOK. Passion is something that we have not heard a lot about. We are taught to choose a profession that makes us the most money. What a sure way to be trapped in a rut. After reading the first few chapters, I felt as if I could do anything. This book gets rid of all the road blocks and excuses. The sections that have you ask yourself questions such as what you are doing? who are you doing it with? what is the greatest source of your motivatation?,is so powerful. I found out that I need to surround myself with more passionate people. I also need to spend more time on the things that I am passionate about. Discouragement is a passion killer and I need to seek new ways to keep the flame of passion burning on the inside which eventually will manifest on the outside. This is a very balanced book. What I mean about balanced is that it is not a get rich quick formula. It is based on gathering knowledge about yourself, getting free from your past (to name a few) so that you can be thrust into your future. Knowledge, hard work and perseverance is the key. Hats off to the author!
