Summary: An Excellent Starting Ground
Review: I received this book as a gift from our FBLA state adviser for reference for meetings. I've only glanced over it since the parliamentarian does more of the Roberts Rules work. The parts that I have read have been extremely helpful in making me understand how to make a motion, and what follows that in a meeting. The one drawback though was that it couldn't help me through some of the more detailed stages of parliamentary procedures, but it's definitely a good starting ground for any newly elected official.

Review: Robert's Rules of Order was one of the best purchases I have made at Amazon.com. The book lists the basic rules of order for Parliamentary procedure. It contains great descriptions and cartoon pictures that concisely explain all of Robert's Rules of Order. This book is an excellent choice if you would like to posess a firm understanding of the procedures necessary for conducting meetings of any type.
