Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Helpful AND interesting
Review: Ellen and Michael Dowling have written a superior book. It gets to the point and is an entertaining read as well as instructional. This is not a small feat for a book about presentations, something I consider usually very dry.

The book is written for the professional presenter who wants to improve his abilities. However, I also find it helpful for the occasional presenter. The book gives you some dynamic techniques that should help whether you are presenting at a convention and need to address hundreds of people, at a high powered business meeting and you really need to impress those present, or if you (like me) are presenting to a small group of colleagues over a friendly rotating monthly lunch.

You might find that people actually listen, hear, and are interested in what you have to say after following several of Ellen's and Michael's suggestions.
