Summary: A Good Road Map about Entrepreneurship in the US
Review: This book covers all esstential knowledge and skills a potential entrepreneur should possess and understand while starting and growing his/her new venture. Besides, Hisrich identifies and analyses a multitude of theories from diverse disciplinary backgrounds pertaining to the subject of entrepreneurship.

This book is very useful for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in exploring the world of entrepreneurship. It is also a good textbook for universities to provide entrepreneurship education for members of the community through adult education, continuing education, or special short courses.

One of the key limitations of this book is that all business cases and theories covered therein are not universal. Hisrich introduces many successful entrepreneurs and ventures from the US to yield insightful ideas about entrepreneurial characteristics and activities. However, students from the oriental world including Japan, India, and China might find that successful entrepreneurs and ventures are totally different with what Hisrich has identified. Something is lacking in this book that make it less marketable in the oriental world.

Entrepreneurship is in vogue and with the emergence of global economy, Hisrich should add a new chapter about entrepreneurship in the oriental world to his next edition in order to make it more comprehensive, otherwise, this book should be retitled as "Entrepreneurship in the US" instead of "Entrepreneurship".
