Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Comprehensive guide for beginners
Review: The book gives a good overview of all the relevant topics without dwelving deep into the mathematical hypothesis on Sharpe's concepts and Black and Scholes model.This is the best book to start with for Security analysis and portfolio management,both for analysts and students

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Good reading which will make the student money.
Review: Using my own risk/reward model as applied to the projected benefits of purchasing this investement vehicle in education, and specifically forcasting a student's return (as salary) "n" yrs from the date of his/her investment, I can determine:

Given: n= yrs studying the text (assume 2); q= the IQ of the student (assume 120); c= inate charm factor, 1-5 (assume 3); w= probable inheritance (assume $15M); f= the propensity towrards fraud (85%);

Then, doing the math:

Salary = {[sqrt of f/(1+c/q x w)]n!}-3 = $85,436.52/year (until time of capture by police in 7.3 years for fraud)

If fraud factor is assumed to be less, but inheritance factor kicks in sooner, no need to buy this book.
