Summary: a MUST HAVE, my sisters!
Review: i am a recent duke grad with a fulbright scholarship and vanity fair pr associate title under my belt, but nothing has prepared me for 'real life' information like jones' "the money rules". i went to a prestigious all-girls private school for 12 years and never once did anyone mention finance. jones spells it out for us (women of all ages- it's never too late to get financially literate), giving us a comprehensive summary of life lessons she's had to learn first hand. she's cool and tells it like it is. it made me so aware of my spending patterns; there was this black void whenever i tried to put the concept of finance in perspective so i would just ignore it and figure it would all sort itself out. jones has taught me what i need to do to take my life- my future- into my own hands financially. i read it in 2 hours and it was the best investment i've made in a long time. read this book ladies- the cinderella complex is so out.
