Review: I have gone through the process of starting a new venture and I can't think of anything important that isn't covered by Andy Freire's book. He has managed to put together a concise yet complete perspective on entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
I am about to launch a new business, and "Pasion por Emprender" has been a great review of the issues I will soon face again. Even from my recent MBA years, I don't recall a better book for someone who is about to start a new company.
Don't expect to get a checklist of things to consider in a start up, but rather something much more valuable; the experience and advise of one of Latin America's most successful entrepreneurs.
