Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Covers M & A from A-Z
Review: This book covers the full scope of Merger & Acquisition work from A to Z. It would be useful for lawyers or HR professionals or execs who want to get the people side of things right. Filled with real-life examples and forms. I wish I had had this book when I was going through my first deal- it gives you a good overview of what to expect and is written in plain English.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Unusually comprehensive
Review: This was an very comprehensive overview of the entire area of mergers & acquisitions, written in easy-to-read terms. It covered not only the HR side of doing deals, but also included information about leadership, employee communications, merging compensation and pay systems, and retaining talent. The book also has an extensive appendix with "how to" documents included which will make the jobs of many HR professionals much easier in the future. This is a book written for many different types of professionals- from executives to lawyers to HR professionals to internal communicators.
