Summary: A Great Book for Sales Managers
Review: Alan does an excellent job of explaining the 80/20 problem and suggests several tactics to overcome it. The book is a good "back to basics" overview of what it takes to be successful in sales. Alan really speaks the language of sales which makes it easy to read and relate to.

Summary: How to Beat the 80/20 Rule in Selling
Review: I love Alan Rigg's no-nonsense approach. Now I can duplicate my hiring successes instead of my mistakes. If you're considering a career in sales, consider this book a pre-requisite. Determine if your unique set of talents and skills match up with those required for success in selling... if they do, join the team! But if they don't, none of us wants to end up somewhere we don't want to be doing something we don't want to do.

Summary: The "Real-Deal" for Sales, Sales Management, and Execs.
Review: This book not only confirmed many of the basic principles of sales management but also supplied new ideas and concepts relevant to hiring, performance management, and training. I finished the book with the desire to assess my current sales team using the tools suggested. Additionally, I have added attributes from the book into our recruiting and hiring process. This is not just a one-time read but a handbook for continuous use, reference, and reflection. Our president also read the book which helped with our 18 month sales strategy alignment.
