Rating: Summary: This book is SO exciting!!! Review: It's a real thriller. I strongly reccomend i
Rating: Summary: Chain Letter is one of he best books by Christopher Pike Review: I thought this book was very strange and very nonconforming to the 'original' horror story. I liked that. Not many books surprise me at the end but this one did! Christopher Pike I love you and I want to marry you!!
Rating: Summary: You'll never guess who!! Review: This "Caretaker" is so cunning. He is truly evil but he is mislead. You'll never be able to figure out who it is before it is to late. Be prepared for surprises. Both scary and sad. It truly holds you in an uncomfortable spot. But not so that you don't want to read one. Actually exactly the opposite. It is truly one of his best but I must admit it is not very best if his work. He has written better but this is truly the best he could have done with this book.
Rating: Summary: Really Really Good Review: It was like I Know What You Did Last Summer, but that wasn't really the main plot of the book. I really liked the book. Christopher Pike didn't really go too deep with the character's background and stuff, but the characters did seem real. I thought that this book was excellent and highly recomended.
Rating: Summary: Don't miss this one!!! Review: Great book...Thi book is the reason I contine to read Christopher Pike...His stories are similar to R.L. Stine's in the fact that they're great for children 11+, yet more interesting and suspenseful!!
Rating: Summary: Interesting and Unpredicting... Review: Once you start reading this you will be unable to put it down. With a story line like I Know What You Did Last Summer (Drunken teenagers run over a man, are fearful to report it because of what it might do to their futures, and receive a letter saying that someone knows their secret) each chapter keeps you on the edge as more stunts are performed. The ending has a surprising twist. It can leave you crying with pity for the "Caretaker", though he did get let off too easy.
Rating: Summary: Cool book Review: This book was cool, but it kinda went downhill with the sick guy thing. still good though
Rating: Summary: One of Christopher Pike's Best Review: Chain letter was fantastic! It was a page turner that kept you guessing. The ending was a complete surprise! In some ways it is similar to Lois Duncan's I Know What You Did Last Summer, but this plot is more complex and more enjoyable to read. If you are a Christopher Pike fan (like me) you will love this book, and if you aren't, then you should still read it
Rating: Summary: Great book!!!! Review: This was one of the best books i have read! i can't wait to read the 2nd one!
Rating: Summary: Get your own idea, Pike! Review: Well, what can I say about this book? I suppose there were soome scary parts, but the book never seemed to end! While the book differs in many ways, the plot is very similar to Lois Duncan's I Know What You Did Last Summer. Some group of drunken teenagers hit and kill someone in a car accident, and decide to cover it up, then a year later someone comes after them in revenge. I Know What You Did... was in fact written more than ten years before Chain Letter. Plus, Chain Letter was tasteless, and ridiculous. And I have just learned that there is a sequel to Chain Letter, and I now feel an obligation to read it. This book is a must miss!
