Rating: Summary: Holes Review: I think Holes was one of the best books i ever read. It tells the story of a boy who is sent to a boys detention camp (camp green lake) for a crime he didn't commit. the judge said he stole Clyde Livingston's shoes. He didn't steal them. the judge gave him a choice, "Jail or camp green lake." Unfortunatly he decided Camp green lake. he was a poor boy that came from a poor family. he had never been to camp before. He was poor and it was all because of his No-good-rotten-pig-stealing-great-grandfather.
Rating: Summary: one of the best books I ever read! Review: I think is one of the best books I have ever read and I think that you should read this great book.
Rating: Summary: Very good and well written Review: I think it is a very good book because they have about 6 different stories going on at once which all tie together in the end. I could also see myself in Stanley's place in the storie from all the very describtive words.
Rating: Summary: The great book "Holes" Review: I think it is one of the best books I have read. Stanley is a kid which does not fight even when people making fun of him. He does not resort to violence. He taught me to not fight even though other people make me mad. I think that reading this book could help lots of kids. I think kids my age can read this book with a little bit of problems. It won the Newbery Award, which means it's a really good book.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book I Ever Read By:Richard Palmer Review: I think of this book as one of the best books I have ever read before . The story was about a boy being sent to a camp for a crime he didn't commit. The best character I think in this book was Zero. Why? because he was the quiet one to me. My favorite part of the book was when they had to suvive on God's Thumb. I would encourage anyone to read this book, that means you.
Rating: Summary: An all around good book. Review: I think that "Holes" is one of the best books I ever heard. I liked how the 2 stories met up at the end .So this was a very good book
Rating: Summary: Full of twist and turns. Review: I think that "Holes" is one of the best books I have ever read. I liked this book because it was full of so many twist and turns when it skiped from story to story. My favorite part of this book is where all of the storys come together when Stanly Ylnats cares Hector "Zero" up the mountain to God's Tumb and completes his DIRTY-ROTTEN-NO-GOOD-PIG- STEALING-GREAT-GREATGRANDFATHER'S quest.
Rating: Summary: An extraordinary book, yet believeable! Review: I think that HOLES by Louis Sachar is a great book. Unlike Harry Potter, it could really happen. You could really think that Stanley Yelnats is a real person, and that his story is true. The evilness of the warden and her rattle snake venom nailpolish is believeable. Louis Sachar puts some to what you would think are "just little details" in the beginning, but they highly affect the ending. I didn't really know how it was going to end, Louis Sachar could have ended it so many different ways. But the ending is exciting, and I think you will enjoy it. READ THIS BOOK, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

Rating: Summary: Book reveiw Review: I think that Holes is a great book. It is about a boy who is always in the wrong place at the wrong time. He got send to Camp Greenlake for a crime that he didn't commit. What happened was that he was walking under a bridge when a pair of shoes fell on him. The shoes belonged to Clyde Livinston. He had donated his shoes to a homeless shelter and then someone stole them and threw them over a bridge. When the boy gets home the cops are waiting for him and they arrested him. The judge told him that he had a choice between Camp Greenlake or jail. So he chose Camp Greenlake where hehas to dig a hole all day long. the hole has to be 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep
