Review: I liked The Giving Tree by Shel Silrerstein because the tree have all of her staff to the boy. It has lots of friendship. It is happy when the boy came back when he was very old. He sat down on the stump and the tree and the boy talked together. I like Shel Silverstein's books. I like The Giving Tree the most. My little brother would like to read this book too.

It was funny because the boy would gather her leaves and make them into crowns and play king of the forest. It was sad because the tree gave away all her branches and all her apples, her trunk and her leaves. I think that kids my age would like to read this story.
