Summary: Disney's Landmark film
Review: Although this isn't my favorite Disney animated film, I still love it. The animation is beautiful, especially for a film so old in which they were able to keep all these years. The voices suit the cast very nicely, as is the case with most Disney animted films. The video re-production came out very well but I'd like the get the DVD with surround sound which is said to come out some time next year. This is Disney's landmark film and if you don't have it, add it to your video collection!

Summary: Captures Classic Disney
Review: Buy the Disney Read-Aloud story books. These books are excellent for all ages. I have been reading the Disney Read-Aloud story books to my daughter ever since she was one year old. She is now three and loves to thumb through the pages of oversized and gorgeous colorful pictures, all just as perfectly animated as the original film.

The Read-Aloud collection is excellent for bedtime story telling. Each page is illustrated with big, bright, colorful pictures, with minimized text on each page (not like some books with two or three paragraphs of reading per page). This together with the illustrations keeps the child's interest at a peak throughout the entire story.

I have six of the Read-Aloud books because none of the other Disney books (Little Golden Books or otherwise) compare in my opinion.

Summary: Dwarves Are People Too!
Review: I feel that Disney has definitely crossed the line in poking fun at a group of short-statured miners. Even though each in the group had their own quirks, they seemed to single out Dopey, just because he was a little slow. So not only are they insulting people with hormonal defects which affect height, they are also mocking the mentally challenged. Disney implies that these types of people are outcasts, living alone in a forest. Disney also suggests that they are incompetent and unable to care for themselves until a pretty young, unknowing girl comes along. They are forced to do nothing but mine for jewels all day, while Snow White cooks, cleans, and takes care of them. They carry heavy loads of jewels and rock everyday, yet they are portrayed as plump, and cannot even lift a broom.

Summary: Snow White
Review: I think the person who said this book makes dwarfs look lazy, needs to re-read this book. It shows how much they loved Snow White and cared about her. Too many of you so called goody two shoes needs to really sit and think how wonderful Mr. Disney's books are. Those dwarfs cared about snow white showed that it was ok for a man to cry and be sensative. Some of the woman now a days need to realized that woman do cook and clean and men still do go out to work. As a single parent of three grown children, who worked and reared my children by myself, I read all the Disney books to my children and I am now reading to my grandchildren. Wake up America, Power Rangers are dangerous to our Children not Snow White. This generation now needs more stories like Snow White to show how sensative even Little People can be. Get your heads out of the ground. We all need to learn how to love one another and how to be sensative once again in this cruel world.

Summary: Erikas Review
Review: I thought that Walt Disney's "Snow white and the seven dwarfs" was a great book for children
everywhere. Its the classic story of Snow White coming and staying with the seven adorable dwarfs, who all have
great personalities of their own. I think that children would love to read this book over and over again. Its
definitely a book that children will remember for a very long time. The thing about this book that makes it so great
is the magnificent ending. So I recommend this book to children, and maybe even adults, because its just one of
them books that makes you smile when you read it.

Summary: It's a book for KIDS!
Review: The artwork reproduced in this book is of the ultra-high quality and distinctive style expected of vintage Disney Studios products. The paper and binding should survive years of use. The storyline is typical fairy tale stuff and serves its purpose well. The text in this book is not an example of story-telling genius, but most adults, when reading it to children, will be able to ad lib subtle improvements.Bottom line: Get it for the pictures!
