Review: Whenever I go to the bookstore (and I go a lot) I walk my 25 year old legs to the children's section and look for my Polish pal Scieszka. Imagine my delight when I discovered da squid. Why oh why are men with senses of humor like this always taken? My love affair with his books (and Lane Smith's illustrations) started years ago when I found el stinko (loyal fans will know what I'm talking about) at a bookstore in Boston and nearly wet myself laughing.

I suggest flipping right to the BeefSnakStik story. It's a killer.
