Review: Excellent book! Great repetition and wonderful illustrations! My 22 month old son loves this book. We read it almost every day. He loves to look at the pictures but his favorite part is when I ask how big each animal is and then he answers by raising his arms over his head while I say SOOO Big!

Summary: One of my 22 month olds favorites!!

Review: My 1 year old loves it. It is one of his favorite books at his granny's house. He even puts his hands up and says something that sounds like "so big".

Summary: A bit too simplistic.
Review: My 14 mo. old daughter is not too interested. I don't think this lift-the-flap is challenging enough. It's cute enough, but I don't think the illustrations are very interesting to her. I guess it depends on your child's likes/dislikes. She's really enjoyed Dora the Explorer's Christmas Book-which has much more "busy" illustrations and oddles of flaps to lift.

Summary: So Good!
Review: My son loves this book becuase he loves to play the "So Big" game. ("How big is baby? So big!" while you raise hands in the air) This very appealing and fun book asks "how big is ... baby owl, baby giraffe," and so on and has a lift-the-flap to go along with it. The pictures are bold and inviting. Sure to be a hit. An extra bonus at the end is a tape measure to measure your little one.

Summary: Too baby-ish for my 14 mo. old.
Review: She's not too excited about this one. Better for the under 12 mo. crowd. Pics very simple and boring.

Summary: Love it!
Review: This is my 15 month old grandson's favorite book. It is simple, easy to understand and cleverly constructed. Each page opens a different way,and the illustrations are clear and obviously compelling for the little guy. If I had to guess which of his many complex books would be his favorite, it wouldn't be this one. But then again I'm not 15 months old. All I know is that he Loves it!
