Review: I DID receive a Book About Me when I was 6 years old. I have kept it with me through 5 moves across several states, and it still thrills me to look and remember. My older sister helped me with some of the drawing which brings back wonderful memories of our work together. Now I share this "antique' with my son who is 6 himself. He loves reading about Mom like she was years ago. I have waited until he is old enough to be able, not only to do the drawings and other activities, but to appreciate the memories himself. I highly recommend this book to any parent. I also highly recommend holding on to it for the parent your child will become

Summary: i love my book about me!
Review: i got my book about me from one of my aunts for my 5th birthday, and she helped me fill it out. i'm now 24 and still have it, and love it! unfortunately, my mom didn't get any for the older 3 of my siblings, who are now in their teens, but i have other younger siblings (we have a whole heard!) and i plan to get it for them, and also buy a few extra copies for when i have children. (if it's still around, i might just get one for every year!) it's the perfect gift for a child between 5-7. and it's nice to look back and see the ways that things, and people, change and grow. every parent should get this book for each of their children. you won't regret it! it's a great keepsake, directly from your child!

Summary: A FOREVER CHERISHED TREASURE
Review: My daughter received this book as a gift for her 5th Birthday. One year later it is chocked full of informationabout her. Each page requires the child to write or draw things about their house, school, friends, family, clothes, food, toys, etc. I am surprised by the LOW cost of this treasure. It is a great activity book for any age child and once it's completed, it provides on-going entertainment. I wish I had this book when I was a child! It makes a great gift for any occasion!

Summary: Gotta get a second one!
Review: My older son got this book as a gift several years ago, and my youngest son was reading it this morning and wants one of his own. I'm so glad I found it! It's sort of like a baby book the kids can fill out for themselves. Some of the things the kids fill in are "my hair is ________" and I live in a (city, suburb, town, etc.) And it's all in the wonderful prose of Dr. Seuss. Then they can draw pictures on some pages and color already-drawn pictures on others. I've enjoyed looking back at some of the things my now-eleven-year-old said when he was five! I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to give their young children the opportunity to create a memory book for themselves for their growing up years. It's great!
