Rating: Summary: When Arlo Comes Talking It's Always A Thrill Review: ...Mooses Come Walking by Arlo Guthrie and illustrated by Alice M. Brock is one of those cool children's poems that sticks in your mind and can be recited over and over again without losing the good feeling it gives your head and your mouth. It is less forced than most of the Dr.Seuss poetry. And besides being a silly piece of Arlo poetry, the short, simple story has a message: be honored if wild animals come to see you and you get to see them. When you need a short, fun, bedtime or anytime book, read this one to your kids.
Rating: Summary: Poetry in Motion Review: Arlo the lyrical strikes again! This is a sweet, fun and energetic poem put to creative pictures, musical notes added in the back to sing along with. Children will love it!!

Rating: Summary: A delight for kids in the north Review: Children who grow up in states that have moose will be delighted with this book. They see moose and do not know exactly what to think about them and how they walk up to houses and look in. It takes the scariness out of them (without adding to the danger...)and makes them humorous. Ages 2 and up.
Rating: Summary: Mooses Come Walking - Disappointing Review: I looked at this book to purchase for my 2 year old Grandaughter. I found the contents disturbing. Mooses stalking a child outside her bedroom window and the child having to pretend that ishe is "dead" so the Mooses don't see her. My daughter-in-law and I discussed this book at lenghth and decided it is not a book that needs to be added to my Grandaughter's library. Perhaps the writers should study early childhood education for appropriate and inappropriate wording for preschoolers. I am sure parents can find more suitable books than this one.
Signed, Disappointed in California
Rating: Summary: Does it get any better? Review: Mooses Come Walking is such a fun book. It is a perfect bedtime story for young children because the pages are very colorful and the illustrations are very striking. Kids will be engrossed by the pictures, and the cute story is a fun little lullaby.

Rating: Summary: mooses! Review: Ok, so I was already an Arlo fan before reading this book, but even if you are not, you'll LOVE this book! This is my standard "new baby" gift to everyone...It is just a really cute story and great simple and colorful illustrations. Kids love it and it is actually a very short story that parents can enjoy reading over and over and over.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious and fun Review: The first time I read this book I burst out laughing. It's wonderfully silly and entertaining. The references to moose peeking in windows until the child "plays dead" (mentioned by another reviewer) are harmless, so long as you're not offended or worried by the old game of "playing dead".
I thought the book was charming and playful. Great fun.
