Summary: It could be better
Review: I think "Ghost Sitter" was interesting but it didn't have very good detail. And it is a ghost story and I think that they should be scary.
I did like the characters and how they were played and I think that the way that Charlotte helped Susie was a very cool thing. It did have me at the edge of my seat and at certain spots I could not put it down.
I was always wondering if Charlottes parents we goin going to believe that there really was a ghost in her house and if they would ever see what Charlotte and Shannon see. I would not like to read it again because it did bore me a little.

Summary: Sparkler Susie
Review: Susie Miller is killed in a 4th of July accident during a block party in her Texas neighborhood. Her parents moved to get away from the bad memories even though her five-year-old sister Gloria insisted that Susie was still there. Susie tried to follow as they drove away but she hit an invisible barrier that wouldn't let her pass. She's been trapped at their old house ever since.

Charlotte Vestuyft is the newest resident in Susie's house, after a long string of renters none staying more than a year, her mother and stepfather purchased the house. Shannon Kohn, the neighbor's daughter, tells Charlotte about Sparkler Susie as she is known. Shannon claims to have seen lights one night in the empty house and decided to look through the window. She saw a shower of sparks in what is now Charlotte's room and then the sparks came through the window at her.

Charlotte is a nonbeliever until she sees the sparks as well. The girls decide to have a séance to try to put Susie to rest. Susie asks them to find her family so the girl's do some research at the library and find Susie's grave where they leave a note for her family.

I checked this book out of the library but have since added it to my wish list. The Ghost Sitter is a book you'll want to read again and again!

Summary: Be Prepared to fear the unknoun
Review: The Ghost Sitter, by Peni R. Griffin, is about
a girl named Susie Miller. Susie dies from a firework accident. After awhile, she turns into a ghost. She promises her sister, Gloria, she will never leave the house. Gloria's the only one that can see her because she's little. Then about 50 years later, a girl moves into the house. Can she help Susie find her parents?

I like that it is a mix of realistic fiction and fantasy. I was jumping out of my seat at all of the surprises there were. I loved it! The author didn't need to do anything better. She explained everything perfectly! I had a great time reading it.

This book also taught me an important lesson. It is you can help people at all times. In the story, Charlotte was trying to help a friend find her parents and they developed a great friendship. It helped me learn this lesson and it can help you too.

Summary: The Ghost Sitter was good.
Review: This book is about a girl named Susie and she loves to babysit children. Every family that moves into her house doesn't seem to notice her, except for the children. This book gets really interesting. I loved it, but I think it could of been better. :>)

Summary: The ghost sitter )My name is Danini I go to Richman School
Review: This book is mainly about a little girl named Susie who died on the fourth of July when she was about twelve years old. Then her parents and her little sister, Gloria, moved away. Gloria could see Susie's ghost and told her that she would come back one day. Susie promised to stay at the house til she came back. So for years Susie played with all the children five and under waiting for Gloria. Nobody older then five could see her unless she concentrated really hard.
The author of this book, Peni R. Griffin, uses a lot of dialogue and gets to the point really fast. She doesn't have very many discriptions and the ones that she does put in aren't in very much depth so I couldn't feel like I was in the book very much. I like this book a lot. It was really interesting right from the start. I chose to read it because my sister read it and she said it was really good and I needed a book for school. I think the audience intended for it was sixth and seventh graders though. It was a really easy read and they get sidetracked really easy and this book is just always interesting. It is a mystery in a way if you like to read those. I would definitely recommend this book though. It has a good ending and a great beginning. It's not a slow moving book that you have to get into and it keeps going like that. All people will enjoy it, but if your looking for a challenging reading this isn't what you should be reading.
