Review: I first found this book at the library, then had to have it for home. My children love to look at it-even the littlest would crawl over to sit on it. I've bought it as a gift for more children than I can count!!

Review: If I could give this book a Ten star rating, I would. My son received this as a gift for his first birthday. He has spent hours pouring over the pictures. At first he would crawl on top of it, now he places it upright on the floor and reads it. Each page has a different theme i.e. home, airport, town. It is true to Scarry's style and has each word next to the picture. My son is two and half and adores the big book. My seven month old loves it too. We are about to invest in a second one as it is very well loved.

Review: My husband has 7 godchildren, and this book is one of the "standard" gifts that we send to them. They love the BIG size--the book is usually bigger than them, and the size makes it an extra-fun gift to receive. Naturally, the kids also love all of the Richard Scarry details on each page!

Review: This is a great book for toddlers and preschoolers, it's as big as they are and chock full of Scarry's signature illustrations. Even though this book is tall, it is very thin and slides behind a toychest or headboard easily.

Summary: Outstanding for all ages!
Review: This is the greatest book! I have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade and have always had this book in my classroom. It is great for vocabulary building and just a fun way to get kids interested in books. My students of all ages gave it lots of wear, and it is still in good shape for my son to enjoy. He is now 18 months and ever since he was about 9 months has loved to sit on it and pat the pictures and now he is starting to name different things. It's really unique because of it's giant size (about 1.5'X2') and thick cardboard pages. I think it is well worth the price for the amout of enjoyment and wear you will get out of it! What a great gift too.
