Summary: A 5 star book for young children!
Review: "Parts" by Tedd Arnold is a hilarious book for young children. My son received it as a gift from his kindergarten teacher. It was perfect timing as he was starting to loose his teeth. It's the story of a young boy, who upon loosing his teeth, among other things, thinks that he is falling apart! We just laughed and laughed over this book and read it again and again. I even buy it as a birthday present for all my nieces and nephews for their fifth birthday!

Summary: Great! Hilarious!
Review: I bought this book not really knowing what to expect. I love it! My husband, on the onter hand, doesn't think he wants to read it to our daughter. She is too young for the book now, at 1 year old. It really addresses things that children tend to concern themselves with at one time or another -- in a very comical way! I thought it was great! I showed it to my mother (a second grade teacher) and she thought it was wonderful as well. She told my husband to "just wait!" Children can worry about the strangest things. If nothing else, buy it for yourself and get a good belly laugh!

Summary: Kids LOVE It!
Review: I used to read this book to children for story time. The kids loved it! You could see the range of emotion in their faces as the story progressed, and the look of relief with the conclusion of the story.

This book makes it easy to explain to kids what's going on with their body, and reassures them that they are not falling apart.

The illustrations are outstanding, really attention getting, and tie in perfectly with the story. Without a doubt, the favorite part of youngsters I read this story to. They all wanted to fully examine every image.

This book is guaranteed loads of giggles from your aduience, as well as yourself. :)

Summary: Laugh Out Loud Riot
Review: My 3 yr. old daughter loves this book. It's very funny, although, at times, a little gross. A little boy thinks he's coming apart when he finds, hair, ear wax, belly button lint, etc. My child now tells me that her stuffing's coming out whenever she has belly button lint, so be prepared for the consequences of reading this hilarious book.

Summary: Great little book!
Review: My son brought this home from the library and he absolutely loved it. I'm glad he did, not only was it cute and brilliantly illustrated, but it is ever so true! There were a couple things in the book that my son had going on such as peeling toes that I didn't know was normal! Grab this book for your elementary school child, as well as More parts (which I'm ordering now)

Summary: TERRIFIC BOOK
Review: Parts has done more for my 7 year old daughter's reading than any other book... and we've read a lot of books. The way Ted Arnold makes a hilarious poem out an "impending" tragedy is wonderful and unique. My daughter has started to write her own poems....what more can I say? Even though we still love Dr. Seuss, we welcome Ted Arnold. All his books are now on the Xmas list.

Summary: Fantastic!!!
Review: Since purchasing this original for my son, it has gone through three children, all of whom can't get enough of this book. Even my eldest whom does not enjoy reading, will gladly read this to his younger sister. I recommend this book for any age. The pics are simple and colorful. The language is relateable to all.
Great enjoyment!

Summary: What a cute book!
Review: The illustration in this book is real simplistic and amazing. If you look very close you can see how detailed it is. I love this book; it's one of my 3 year old's favorite reads. The events that take place are hilarious, simple things that would happen to any child. And the poem is very quotable: "Amazed, dismayed, to horrified to speak!" Great book!

Summary: Worry no more!
Review: This book is humorous, informative and flows well. At times it's a little gross but it's a delightful way of teaching children the "normal" functions of their little bodies at a level they can understand. As adults how many of us expect the worse from our ailments? I wish there was a book like this for us! How many times have we had the medical books out like the boy in this book. I saw this in a book store and flipped through it. After getting it from our local library I knew I had to buy it for one of the many children in my family.
