Review: This book was a true display of what military children are going through in this day and age. It is hard for younger children to understand why Mommy or Daddy have to go and this book puts it on a level that they can understand. It is especially touching to hear it from a real military Mommy who has been through it.

Review: WITH SO MANY CHILDREN THE INNOCENT VICTIMS OF OUR TIMES, SEPARATIONS, DIFFERENCES IN FAMILY LIFE, ETC., I HOPE THIS WILL HELP SOME OF THE LITTLE ONES KNOW THAT THEIR MOMS ARE JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER KIDS...IT IS JUST A DIFFERENT JOB....DIFFERENT SCHEDULE....AND MAYBE SOME PARENTS WILL DECIDE TO TAKE AN INTEREST IN THE CHILDREN WHOSE PARENTS ARE AWAY FROM HOME...TAKE THEM TO THE MOVIE...SHOW UP AT A SCHOOL PLAY...FILLL IN! FOR A FIRST BOOK...IT HIT THE MARK. LOOK FORWARD TO MORE!!!
