Rating: Summary: Bugs to gem what would you choose ? Review: Do you have gems falling out of your mouth? Well Rosella does in The Fairy's Mistake! But here is the catch, her sister has nasty beetles, bugs & snakes coming from her mouth. Here is a fiction story by Gail Carson Levine if you like reading about Fiction stories & princesses you would loovvveeee this book. While Rosella was out picking peas in the Village of Biddle her sister was at home singing and felt a funny feeling. Soon enough she had gems falling from her mouth. One day she was in her garden and Prince Harold asked her to marry him. They did and lived happy after. Unfortunately her sister Myrtle had started to get bugs falling out of her mouth and was mad at Rosella. Here are some books that are similar to this one. The Princess Test, Ella Enchanted, The Two Princesses of Banarre, The Wish, Princess Sonora & the Glass Hill, Fairy's Return, For Biddle Snake, Cinderella. I think the main idea is to teach the reader to not be greedy but be kind and thoughtful. One strong point is that the Princess Tale Series all connects. A weak point is that there should have been some action in the end. I recommend this book to my friends & family. It is a great book but also a great series. How would you feel if you had gems falling out of your mouth every second you tried to talk!!
Rating: Summary: The Fairy's Mistake Review: Do you never read? I think that if you read "The Fairy's Mistake" you'll see reading in a whole new light. For all you people who do read it's also an amazing fantasy book. To find out the gist of the book read on. In "The Fairy's Mistake" the Fairy Ethelinda rewards one of the Widow Pickering's daughters, Rosella so that whenever she speaks jewels come out. Her twin sister, Myrtle is punished so that whenever she talks slimy bugs, snakes, and spiders come out. When Rosella marries a greedy prince and Myrtle uses her voice to buy things they have to work together to make the prince listen. I hope that you purchase (or read) this book because the plot and the authors writing style really drew me in. If you like fantasy books this book is a must-have. I hope that you have great sucess with this book. I know I did.
Rating: Summary: a wonderful book! Review: From the opening line of once upon a time to the closing happily ever after, this book enchanted me with its hilarious take on the classic tale. Charmingly written, this book is for all ages. "The Fairy's Mistake" can be read in one sitting, since it is fairly short and easy reading. Any reader who enjoys traditional fairy tales should definetly read this book.

Rating: Summary: Hot to Trot, or Not so Hot? Review: Rosella, in the village of Snettering-on-Snoakes, was fetching water one day ... and inadvertently gave the fairy Ethelinda a drink of water (as Ethelinda stood disguised as an old lady). As a reward for her good deed, Rosella received the gift of whenever she spoke, jewels fell out of her mouth. After her own run-in with Ethelinda, Rosella's mean twin Myrtle was cursed w/ having creepy crawlies come out of her mouth as she talked. In the pages that follow, everyone, including Ethelinda, learns a valuable lesson. An entertaining twist on an old fairy tale once again by Ms. Carson Levine
Rating: Summary: This Book is Not a Mistake Review: With cute humour and plenty of magic,Levine tells the tale of 2 sisters, one nice, one selfish.A well-meaning fairy gives the nice sis a 'gift'....She will spew diamonds from her mouth every time she speaks. But this so-called blessing causes everyone to take advantage! The nasty sister is 'punished' by being enchanted to spew out insects every time she speaks(it's a good book, honestly.)But her punishment turns into something she enjoys as she uses it to her own advantage to terrorize others. It's actually not a gross book,My review is grosser than the book.It is a charming read as is The Princess Test.
