Summary: READ THIS OR DONT READ THIS IT IS YOUR CHOICE.
Review: When Herbert Timothy Simple is kicked off the police squad he decides to open his own private detective buissness. He changes his detective buissness. He changes his name to Tim Diamond. There is one problen withe his detective agency, he is the worst private eye in london. His 13 year old youner brother, Nick, is the reason his detective agency still is in buissness. Johnny Naples, a vertically challenged dwarf, entrusts them with an envelope and promisses to pay $500 now and after he comes back. The next day johnny is dead and all the big time criminals in london is after Tim and Nick to get the package that is the key to $5,000,000 dollars.
This is one of the best books i've ever read. It's cool in the action scenes when Anthony Horowitz brings you into the book. He sends twists into the plot when you think nick will never escape. He makes great use of his surroundings and has awesome escapes. The end is great. You will like this book if you liked the Alex Rider series.

Summary: Inappropriate!
Review: This book is totally inappropriate for children. The back of the book says for ages 8 and up. My 9 year told me she couldn't get to sleep because of this book. It contains Santa being shot in the head with blood trickling out, a kid's feet put in cement and threatened to be thrown in the river, kidnapping and other murder by guns. I'm not anti-gun or overly protective and frankly I enjoyed the book. But it is NOT appropriate for an 8 (or 9) year old by anyone's standards.
