Review: This was my favorite out of all the Tamora Pierce series and one of my favorites out of the series. I liked the first book too. And the third. I haven't read the fourth yet though. Kel is a great character who is so kind and adventurous.

Review: You should really read it. Specially if you have read other Tamora Pierce books in the past. This is not the first book in the series though so I would recomend that you read the first one before reading this one, you dont have to but the background makes the story much more enjoyable. The story is a very captivating one, and it will make you want to read the rest of the series. I had to wait for the fourth one and I nearly died. So, yes, please read it. I love Tamora Pierce and I have converted a number of my friends. This book is just one example of her brilliance, and it will not dissapoint you.
