Review: The images on the cards are very appealing to children and offer a clue when they are beginning to learn the sounds. I have a set of similar flashcards made by another brand and my daughter was very bored with them quickly. I had no problem getting her to work with these and after a few times through the deck she had the majority of the consonant sounds memorized. Within a few days she knew them all and I added on the vowels. This deck also offers cards with blends e.g. sh, wh, sw. This is an excellent way to get your child started on the path to reading.
