Summary: Wonderful first book
Review: Being bookaholics, my husband and I were eager to begin reading to our newborn as soon as possible. We soon realized how little a newborn is interested in ANY book...not this one! The bright, colorful, simple illustrations captured my baby's attention from just a few weeks old. Within a couple of months he was turning the pages and reaching out to the page. He is now seven months old and it remains one of his favorite books. He gets the book himself and actively feels the texture each page offers. All the books in the series are equally deserving of five star status! This book will definitely be included in all my future baby shower gifts.

Summary: My son's favorite
Review: I bought this book for my son for his first birthday, but it didn't get much attention until he was around 14 months. He is now 18 months and it is still his favorite book...he always brings it to me. My three year old enjoys it too (he recites the words). Unlike other "touch" books we have, the pictures and textures really invite the kids to interact. Simple, colorful and sweet.

Summary: Thomas LOVES this book
Review: My son Thomas (now 21 months) took to this book at 12 months and it is still is favorite. Very durable. He used to pet, and now he loves to show me the mouse on each page. I'm buying other Usborne books for an upcoming plane ride! He also has one in Spanish that he likes as much.
