Summary: AMAZING
Review: This is my favorite book of all time. My mother bought me a copy as a small child because we took the book out of the library so often. I have since bought a second copy in case something ever happens to the first. This book is out of print and hard to find, but it is well worth the effort.

The story is cute, but the pictures are what really does it for me. They seem to be done in watercolor and the colors are great. I just love to look at the pictures sometimes.

Summary: OUR FAVORITE CHILDREN'S BOOK
Review: Twenty-some-odd years ago,when I was a new mother, I found this little gem and bought half a dozen copies. Over the years they were given to friends with new babies, and our own copy became the #1 bedtime favorite out of the hundreds of children's books on our shelves. To this day my daughter and I can recite the words from memory ... the text has a wonderful rhythm to it, the story is magical, the illustrations colorful and captivating. I came here to purchase more, for more friends with new babies, and was so disappointed to find it's out of print!
