Summary: Be Matisse for a day
Review: This is a wonderful book to get the children close to the artist. It gives a very clear overview of the author and the key features of his technique. It also offers a hand's on project for the children to become Matisse for a while. Simple instructions, a short and wonderful review on the artist's life and work make this book easy and enjoyable. My children (8 yr old, 5yr old and 3 yr old) and I had a smashing afternoon composing a work of art to show papa, grandma, and the teachers. I highly recommend this book and others in this series to introduce the artists to children. This is however my absolute favourite in this series.
