Because in the past year Jason has grown a foot taller while William is still a little tiny shrimp.But when William has a chance when his former housekeeper sends him a magic token that once again takes him back to Sir Simon's castle in the middle ages, the time with Jason.There they face a dangerous army of rats and their gigantic leader.Once again William will return, as a hero in the castle. But now it is up to him to destory the rats and save the castle in the final battle for the castle. This book is very interesting and exciting book at the same time

Review: I am in third grade. My teacher read my class this book and the one before it to. Every time when my teacher would stop reading the whole class would beg her to read more. the author does a great job of stoping the chapter right at the really exciting parts.I LOVED it!!!!!!!!! Normally I don't like books about castles but this one I really liked!

Summary: A great sequel to A Castle in the Attic
Review: In this book, it has been two years since William first went with Sir Simon to save his kingdom. William is turning twelve and has to jump a train to prove that he is a man. He fails while his best friend, Jason, suceeds. Mrs. Phillips gives William the Janus tokens back. William thinks that this would be a great chance to get some training in, so he and Jason shrink themselves to start training.
Soon, they go to visit Sir Simon. Unfortunately, there is another danger in the land. Rats that eat everything living or not. William is left in control of the castle while Sir Simon goes to a tournament.
With Sir Simon gone, can William gather enough courage to save the castle and defeat the killer rats?

Review: this adventure book is a wonderful read for everyone! i read it when i was a young teenager, and fell in love wih it! now i have read it again and still enjoy it. the sequal to the castle in the attic, this book was filled with more adventure and suspense. recomended for anyone that enjoys fantasy and adventure!

Review: This is a great sequel!!! I loved it! There is no return of Alastor but there is a very evil gang lurking about. Not only dose William go to Sir Simon's castle, but Jason comes too!!!
There is also 1 new character: But you'll have to read the book to find out who he/she is! ;)
