Review: "My Faith Journal" was originally purchased as a gift for my 9 year old secret pal. As I gleaned its pages I too began to reflect on its prompts for faith milestones. This journal was obviously written for 9-12 year olds and its illustrations soften otherwise scary memories and helps make it easier to journal responses to the prompts included on each page. The book is published in two cover formats (one for a girl and one for a boy). I bought several of each and have since sent them as gifts for a new single mom and her infant son; my secret pal who has leukemia (he is 9 years old); a little girl who has a new baby sister; newlyweds; and I am keeping a few for my own grandchildren. "My Faith Journal" will prove invaluable for our church confirmation classes this new year and for our children's choir, too. This book will help some children conquer the monsters in their lives with the stroke of a pen. I highly recommend this book for children and the little child in each of us. The journaling will help us conquer the big monsters that hide inside us all.
