Review: Kids will enjoy this amusing book on their own and it has many good math lessons. My kids particularly liked the Egg and Spoon Race (subtraction and addition as kids move forward and backward in the race) and The Spud Brothers (teaches even and odd), and Plenty of Pizza (fractions a la Mr. and Ms. Sweet-za eating and sharing pizza). We all liked the math jokes and short riddles thrown in on most pages as well. The art is lively and colorful. I liked the style of it--it's unusual and active. The book is well-organized and packed with info, but not too busy. An excellent math choice for about ages 7-10 or so. (I'm 36, and I enjoyed it too!)
