Review: My daughter Brooke (5) is just beginning to read on her own, and absolutely loved this book. If your child loves ponies this book will keep their attention. The reading level is appropriate for a beginning reader and the pictures help them to decode the story. An excellent beginner book.

Summary: Great book for beginning readers!
Review: This book was perfect for our Kindergartener who is just learning to read. Pal the Pony kept her interest and motivated her to finish the book. The text is challenging but not frustrating: Plenty of easy to recognise sight words, plus longer words to sound-it-out. Our daughter was so excited to be able to read most of a book herself that she wants to order more. This title would appeal to boys or girls equally.
