Review: A modern-day chicken-little story,of the hen who thought someone was eating the sun. A funny and well written book that teaches children about the solar eclipse,and the value of not gossiping. This has long been my favorite children's story,and the colorful pictures only make it better.I highly recomend this book for children of all ages and for the young at heart.

Review: As a kid this was my favorite book,today it still remains one of the best kids books ever written.It teaches many good values,while still remaining entertaining.The only disapiontment I have ,is that it is no longer in print.I would like to encourage others, who have read this book ,to write in and petition to get this wonderful book back in print for a new generation of children to enjoy.

Summary: Great Book For Teachers
Review: This book is great for teachers at all levels. It nicely teaches the concepts of solar eclispe. It can also be used to teach literary concepts like alliteration and onomatopoeia. I made a sun & phases of the moon to show the eclispe while I read the story. Then, I just turn the sun 180 degrees & take off the moon pieces and the sun "reappears" for the kids. Enjoy this book!
