Summary: GREAT BOOK FOR BILINGUAL CHILDREN
Review: Bernard Most has a great way of getting his message across in a very simple way. A cow says "oink" and is made fun of by other cows. He looks the same as the other cows but his language is different. Then comes a pig that says "moo"; the other pigs make fun of him. The cow and pig end up together and teach their "language" to each other. The two truly become bilingual! A nice book to help children NOT make fun of those who speak a different language. They can truly learn from each other.

Summary: A Delightful Must Have!
Review: From a parent and kindergarten teacher's perspective, this is a fantastic book. It is one of our family's favorites. We laugh throughout the book each time we read it. Bernard Most's simple and clever use of language and illustrations makes it a classic to read over and over. I have recommended this book to many parents and teachers. It is also a wonderful book for pre and emergent readers to read with adults.

Summary: Entertaining and Educational
Review: I read this book many times and recommended it as a Children's Librarian. This book is great for the young and the young and heart. I will never tire of this book. Bernard Most captures the way humans can act to someone who has just one thing different from his or her peers through the animals. The book shows that everyone may not be alike, but is to be accepted. This is great how the cow becomes friends with a pig that has a similiar problem to his own. This is a great book, especially for Toddlers.

Summary: wonderful barnyard humor
Review: I would like to thank the author for creating a terrific picture book which is a surefit hit every time I read it to a group of kids. As a children's librarian, I have a few titles that are always winners, and this is definitely one of them! The children always respond to this silly story with its great barnyard sounds as the cow and pig try to learn the new "words" oink and moo. And it has a nice lesson about persevering, which is an added bonus. Fun stuff!

Summary: My daughter absolutely *loves* this book
Review: My 3 year old son laughs hysterically every time we read this book (and we read it a lot!). The cow (who only says Oink) tries to teach the pig to say oink and the pig (who only can say Moo) tries to teach the cow to say Moo. The funny combinations of MOO and OINK just crack him up. (MOINK, MOOK, OIMOO, etc.) The other animals make fun of them, but they get the last laugh. We get such a kick out of how much he loves it.

Summary: My daughter absolutely *loves* this book
Review: My wife stumbled upon Bernard Most's books at a Zany Brainy store closing sale. She bought "Oink Ha!" and our daughter (2 years old) loved it. So from the description of this book, I bought it for her. It has now become her favorite book!

She thinks it's funny for a cow to oink and a pig to moo! And she loves the sounds they both make while learing to moo/oink (oinomoo, moink! ;0).

Bernard Most really has our daughter's number. He's a favorite around our house.
