Review: Another interesting book from DK that kids will love. It was well written and kept my interest all the way to the end. It's nice to have books that that are interesting and informative that my kids really like to read, I even learned something from this book. The photographs and illustrations are wonderful. Geography, history and lots of science all in one book.

Summary: Very good beginner book on carniverous plants
Review: We bought a few carniverous plants from a nursery, which is how my kids got interested in the subject. I borrowed this book from the library. The book further peaked the kids' interest in the plants (they check the plants every day). We got a lot out of this book. In fact, we read it over and over and over again for so many time that I bought a copy.

The book has pictures and very simple of clear texts that explain several unusual plants: the carniverous plants, poison ivy and some other poisonous plants. I think this is a great book for kids.
