Summary: A Great Book
Review: Are you looking for a wonderous book too read? You should read "The Million Dollar Shot". The book is about a boy who shoots a basket for a Million Dollars. During the story he meets a girl that looks like a boy. The girl and Eddie would meet together at a basketball hoop close to their houses. They would talk and play H-O-R-S-E. When he hears that there was a shot for a million dollars he wrote a poem and sent it in. When he got a letter in the mail he was amased he had won the contest. I think the book was amasing. It had a lot of detail. If you like sports and you like basketball. You'll like this book. If you want to find out if he made the shot or not read this book and find out. It is a mystery.

Summary: A GREAT book
Review: I am a student at Waldron Mercy Academy (SJD). The Million Dollar Shot is about a boy named Eddie Ball who lives in a trailer park with his mom. Then he meets a girl named Anne Oakley who looks like a boy and is really good at basketball. Eddie, Anne, Anne's dad, and Eddie's mom become really good friends. Then his mom's mean boss (Mr. Finkle) has a contest. The way you could win was to write the best poem about Mr. Finkle. Eddie tried his best to write a good poem, but he couldn't. So Anne wrote a great poem for him that won the contest. Anne's dad trained him. He made him shoot 500 foul shots a day. Then Mr. Finkle tried to bribe Eddie to miss the shot on purpose, but he didn't listen. Finally it was time for the shot and he. . .
This was a great book. I recommend this book for anybody who likes basketball.

Summary: Frankie Busano's Review
Review: I read The Million Dollar Shot. It's about a boy named Eddie who is good at basketball. He hears about a poem contest and if he wins he gets to try to make a million dollar shot at the NBA finals in New York at halftime in front of millions and millions of fans. This book is very suspenseful because someone is trying to stop Eddie so he doesn't make the shot. Even though, the book is short there is a lot of action in it. When you read the book you just want to skip to the end and see if he makes the shot. So read The million Dollar Shot because it is very tempting to know what happens next. It is a very good book. READ IT! NOW!

Summary: You have to read this book
Review: Million Dollar Shot was a good book, About a girl with a very hard life. Ever since the begining of her life her parents werent really there for her. She had a little brother that she had to take care of. She was more of a mother to her brother than a sister. She never had a normal child hood she always had to be the adult. She had a job at Burger Boy wich was her last "resort" to supporting her brother and herself. After things got really hard she was fired from Burger Boy. She had a journal with her teacher that always read "Do not read this." After a while she need to share what shes been thorugh with someone and she finally started to write "Do Read This." She never really got the life that she wanted but things are starting to look up.

Review: Recommendation:
I recommend this book to people that are teenagers. This is a book that is funny ''I looked at Annie. She rolled her eyes. 'You are living proof that white people have no rhythm." When Eddie writes his poem, he didn't know how to rhyme. One thing I did not like is that for a character in the story to get into the contest, he/she must write a poem to win the contest." All you had to do to enter the contest was send in ten finkle box tops and an original poem about finkles." Therefore this book was a good book. that I recommend to anybody but mostly teenagers.

Summary: The Million Dollar Shot
Review: The Million Dollar Shot is about a boy named Eddie. He lives with his mom in a poor trailer park, but one day Eddie sends a poem into a contest hoping to win. One day he gets selected to shoot for 1 million dollars in New York City. He did shoot it and he got 1 million dollars! The ending is very good, but I won't tell you what it was... you'll have to find out yourself. This book is quite funny and entertaining. This book would've gotten 5 stars but it wasn't very long, if it was longer it would've been a spectacular book! No matter what, this book has got to be read!!
