While reading, one learns about the lifestyle of orcas - hunting, family relationships, and just daily survival. As Siwiti discovers new things, the reader gains an insight along with her into orca life. The book is also full of fabulous photographs of various orcas to illustrate the story. It's simple enough for children to enjoy, yet beautifully told so that adults will love it too.
