Review: I ordered this little doll for my daughter and am delighted. Her size is perfect to play in our Barbie house, which is perfect to play out the Samantha Story line and we have Barbies that play Aunt Corniela and even Grandmary and Uncle Gard. A boy Barbie plays Eddie Ryland. I wish Amazon.com had not sold out of the Nellie doll, but hopefully she will be back in stock soon or I will have to go to American Girls site and pay $20.00 for her. $11.97 is a great price for this little doll! Right now one of Barbie's little sisters has to play Nellie. They even have their little schoolroom set up in the Attic of the Barbie house!

Review: My daughter enjoys the American girl series, but who can afford the dolls? I thought this was a great value, at 40% off, it was only $11.97! "Wow!!" I thought. I purchased it and the Nellie doll. I knew it wasn't full size, but 6 1/2 inches seemed large enough for some fun. It is such a small doll! It is only about the size of Barbie's little sister. My daughter has some baby dolls that are ony 6 1/2 inches tall, they seem so much bigger than this, because they are also big around. It is a very cute doll, just not what I expected. As long as all you are looking for is a doll that is the size of Barbie's little sister, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Review: My daughter is so in love with the American Girl series and when I researched the cost of the dolls I had a major case of sticker shock! I was excited that I found what I thought would be a good compromise. Boy was I disappointed when the doll barely fit in the palm of my hand. I wish I had spent the money on a few of their books instead. Maybe someday we will spring for the "real" thing.

Review: While I love the American Girls, this doll was so small, it doesn't compare to the regular American Girls dolls that American Girls are known for. The book on the making of the movie was not very informative. It's better off being a dvd or being part of the dvd. I don't know why they made a book on the making of the movie nowadays when this is usually in the dvd itself. As for the doll, get the larger version instead.
