Rating: Summary: Snappy little Colors Review: A friend gave this to me as a baby shower gift and I started reading it to my son at about 4 months. At first it was the only book (out of many) to hold his attention all the way through. It still holds his attention now at 9 months no matter what he's doing when I open it. The print and mechanical quality are first rate. The text is very well written and if I quote phrases from the book (at non-reading times) my son will recognize them and start giggling. The illustrations are quite clever and make learning entertaining. If you buy no other children's book, buy this one! I plan to give it as a shower gift to all new moms from now on.
Rating: Summary: A Real Winner! Review: I bought this book for my son when he was 18 months old. He fell in love with the vibrant colors and pop-up creatures immediately! At 27 months he still asks for the "parrot" book regularly. We love this book so much we buy them for our friends' children and have completed our set of Snappy Pop-Up books with the other four.
Rating: Summary: Excellent for Babies! Review: I bought this when my son was 4 months old and he stares at it and laughs, he just loves the vibrant colors and cool pop ups. I plan on buying more in the series.
Rating: Summary: My 2 year old reads it over and over Review: My daughter "reads" this book all the time. Actually she's memorized the whole book. The text is simple and very easy to understand. The colors are vivid. She loves the big pop-up pictures. Even now, after she's learned her colors she still wants to read it.
Rating: Summary: Great fun and excellent for learning, too! Review: My daughter (26 months) LOVES this book! I read it to her often but she really spends lots of time looking at it on her own, too. She will flip through it saying each animal's name, then again making the sound of each animal, then one more time stating the main color on each page. Great big pop-ups really catch her attention. This book is especially helpful for learning colors or animal names. She loves it so much I have ordered her a couple of other Snappy Books for Christmas. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: SNAPPY LITTLE COLORS IS GREAT FOR TODDLERS! Review: My daughter (nearly 2 years old) absolutely loves this book! It has super bright colors and awesome pop-up animals. Erika is a special needs child who has not yet spoken a word, but she knows a few signs. She is so motivated by this particular book that she signs "book" to request it. It has a great sing-song rhyming pattern that she loves and is easy for parents to read! Even our 4-year-old has memorized the story and "reads" it to her sister. I've just ordered the "snappy farmyard" to have another favorite book on hand!
Rating: Summary: great pop up book! Review: My daughter loves this series, and she's only 15 months old! The pop ups are sturdier than you'd expect, but we have used some scotch tape. These books have taught her animals sounds (farmyard) and many other things. I'm sure this one will help with her colors.
Rating: Summary: Braeden's Favorite Review: My son got this from some friends for his first birthday, and he LOVES it! We finally got to the point where we had to put it out of sight until reading times, because he was always at our ankles with this book. It is terrific, and we will now be buying the rest of the books in this series.
Rating: Summary: WHAT A WONDERFUL BOOK!! Review: My year old son adores this book!! He just can't seem to get enough of it! The illustrations and pop up figures are bright and attractive and the rhyming text are just as the title suggests "Snappy" and fun!! I love hearing his giggles as I read him this book over and over again!! Just be careful, as with all children no matter how thick the pages are they somehow manage to tear it up!!
Rating: Summary: Snappy little Colors Review: The book Snappy Little Colors is great because not only is it a book to teach kids about colors, it's a pop up too. They kids can have fun learning their colors as well as learning to read better. You get to see different animals with different colors on them. I would say this book would be good for kids the ages of 1 and up.
