Summary: One of the Best!!!
Review: All of the Heartland Books are wonderful! I've read the complete series and can't wait for the next two for Christmas. If you havn't read any, then I suggest you start with #1. But for all the people who are thinking about this one, here's a little about it:

"Heartland is a horse farm nestled in the hills of Virginia, but it's much more than that. Heartland is a place like no other - a place where the scars of the past canbe healed, a place where frightened and abused horses learn to trust again.

"It's been a long time since Amy has seen her father. Twelve long years have separated them, and she doesn't know if he could ever really be her father again. As she waits for his arrival, Amy wonders if he will understand who she is and what matters in her world. Amy's life is Heartland and its horses; her father's life was once very much the same as hers. With all that's come between them, can their love of horses bring them together again?"

I reccomed the book to horselover's, or people who just want to read a good book.

Summary: This was a great book!
Review: Amy is now faced with emotional stress when her father comes to Heartland... the last thing that Amy wants. Lou is excited but that doesn't last for long. She gets angry at her dad the very day he comes! Amy though, can't ignore the feelings she has found of love for her dad, especially because he loved Pegasus so much. Amy is stressed with this. After how much she hated him, and now, the tables turned. What is Amy gonna do? Read, and remember anything is possible at Heartland.

Summary: Horses are the best
Review: Could you imagine getting frightened and abused horses to trust again?

If you enjoy horses than Heartland Thicker Than Water is a book for you. It's a kind of novel that you never want to put down. This book is about a girl named, Amy, a 15 year old horse trainer who tries to get frightened, and abused horses to trust again. She is a very kind, concerned, yet confused person. She and her family live on a horse farm in the hills of Virginia. There are a lot of conflicts in this novel, but the most important one is that Amy's dad, Tim, whom she hasn't seen in 12 years, is coming to Heartland. She feels that he should just stay out of her life, because she is still angry at him when he abandoned her and her family. Her sister Lou feels totally different. She feels that Amy and she need to give him a chance.

I found this novel wonderful, and amazing. I liked it so much because I feel that Lauren Brooke did an awesome job of describing the way the characters were thinking, it was almost as though I was in their heads. I also enjoyed it because it had so much suspense that I couldn't wait to turn the page. You could almost see Amy's mind and heart fighting between loving and hating her dad.

Summary: An Exellent Book!
Review: Since I was younger, I've always loved the Horseland Series. I picked this book up from my local Chapters and it was the last copy there. I started to read it the moment I got home. Even though I'm a fast reader and the books don't take me long to read, I love them. This book in particular. I have the entire library and can''t wait till' number 9 comes out.

This book is about Amy and her unknown father and how they start to bond together. Soon, Amy finds out that they share the same love in horses. To me, it was a surprise in the end. They help rescue two horses named Feather, a rearing problem and Rosie who is headshy. In the end, everything turns out fine. I rate this book 5 stars because of the way Lauren Brooke told this magnificent story.

Summary: Titles....
Review: The Heartland stories are good, but the titles are very weird. I mean, "Thicker than Water?" What does that have to do with horses? "One day You'll Know?" "Breaking Free?" "Love is A Gift?"
No offense or anything, but these titles should change or something.

Summary: THIS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This is a brilliant book and it is one of my personal favourites.
In it Amy and Lou's father comes to Heartland, it is really good as Lou and Amy's idea's of thier father completely change. Tim affects them both greatly and makes Lou rethink her idea of horses. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Summary: GREAT BOOK!
Review: This would have to be my favorite book out of the Heartland series. Probablly one of the better horse stories I've read in a while.
The book is about how Amy and Lou's long lost father is paid to have a vist at Heartland while he is on a buisness trip. Amy is all freaked out about having her father coming to town after he had her mom and sister when she was little. It's a whole story about how Amy come to terms with her father and tries to build a relationship of trust again. You have to read the book to find out how the story ends up.
